Real-World Projects

Where pixels met purpose. These are the projects built for actual clients, users, and teams — translating design ideas into experiences that real people use, click, and occasionally fall in love with. From concept sketches to launch-ready interfaces, each piece tells a story of learning, collaboration, and craft.

Project Aurora

A multidisciplinary case study that blends product strategy, UX research, and responsive UI development.

Project Meridian

An interactive data visualization exploring complex systems through motion and storytelling.

Project Atlas

A brand refresh for a global nonprofit, including design systems, launch campaign, and responsive website.

Design Playground

Because growth doesn’t always come with a deadline. This section is full of experiments, redesigns, and creative sprints — exercises made to stretch thinking, sharpen skills, and explore new trends without the pressure of “real-world” constraints. It’s where curiosity and practice meet.

Project Echo

A set of motion design explorations that reimagine audio interfaces for voice-first devices.

Project Lumen

Lighting studies that test generative art techniques across AR filters and stage visuals.

Project Drift

Micro-interaction concepts exploring adaptive UI patterns for wearable devices.

Illustration & Visual Experiments

Not every great idea wears a wireframe. Here live the hand-drawn, vector-built, and imagination-driven pieces — illustrations that often sneak into app UIs, but also stand proudly on their own. A peek into my visual storytelling and the sense of whimsy I bring into my design work.

Project Horizon

Co-led a product sprint to launch a cross-platform productivity suite in under eight weeks.

Project Synergy

Collaborative brand experience for a technology conference, spanning signage to mobile app.

Project Mosaic

A series of editorial illustrations for a publication highlighting community-led initiatives.

about me

ozum alp

designer & illustrator

I didn’t start out in design — I wandered into it. Somewhere between my love for art, color, and making things feel right, I discovered that good design isn’t just about how something looks, but how it works. That realization pulled me into the world of UI and UX, where pixels meet psychology and layouts tell stories. I still see myself as an apprentice — learning, experimenting, breaking things (gently), and rebuilding them better. Every project teaches me something new about people, patience, and the beauty of clarity. My goal? To keep creating experiences that make sense, look good, and occasionally make someone smile.
